Inhibitor of DNA binding 2 (ID2) overexpression rescues Du145 cells from apoptosis. (A) Semiquantitation of ID2 expression by RT-PCR on RNA from Du145 cells transfected with pCMVscript (lanes 1 and 2) or pCMV-ID2 (lanes 3 and 4). cDNA templates (200 ng) from Du145 transiently transfected with pCMV script or pCMV-ID2 were titrated to the indicated dilutions. PCR were carried out using primers specific for ID2 or β-actin. The PCR products were then electrophoresed and visualized in 2% agarose gel.
