Cd exposure increases total glutathione in RPTEC/TERT1 cells. Total glutathione levels were significantly increased after 24 hours of exposure to 1 and 10 μM Cd. Total glutathione levels were also significantly increased after exposure to 1 μM Cd for 24 hours followed by a 24 hour exposure to B[a]P concentrations.
