L-2-amino-4,4-azipentanoic acid or photo-leucine (pLeu). pLeu at five different concentrations (14.3 × 10−3 to 1.43 mg/ml) corresponding to 1×, 10×, 20×, 50× and 100× molar excess relative to Mb were co-lyophilized with MbT and MbS formulations.
