Table 3. Mean hippocampal shape summary scores in PPA and control subjects.

Note that the mean scores for the PPA subjects are positive and for controls are negative. This signifies that scores that are more positive represented hippocampal shape that deviated farther from the control group and are indicative of PPA characteristics, while negative scores are indicative of control characteristics.
