A. Domain structure of ASAP1 splice variants. ASAP1a contains three Proline-rich motifs, P1, P2 and P3. P1 and P3 contain a typical (PxxP) motif. P2 contains six Prolines. ASAP1b contains only P1 and P3. B. Model of ASAP1 functioning as an Arf effector to regulate podosome and invadopodia formation. ASAP1 integrates signals from Src, PIP2 and Arf•GTP.
