Example stimuli from one stimulus set. The leftmost stimulus represents the prototype of category A, stimuli to the right of the prototype represent examples of stimuli with increasing distances from the A prototype. The rightmost stimulus is the category B prototype. Stimuli with distance 0 – 4 from prototype A were considered category A members, stimuli with distance 6 –10 were considered category B (non-A) members.
