Relationships among PET, MRI, and motor behavior (parkinsonian score). The relationship between rCBV measured using MRI and binding potential measured using 11C-CFT PET both before and after MPTP treatment is shown in a for putamen (Put) and substantia nigra (SN). There is a correlation between the PET and MRI between control and MPTP-treated groups. Also shown are the correlations after MPTP treatment between motor scores (behavior) and CFT binding potential and rCBV changes in the SN and CFT binding potential (b). The correlations were significant (p<0.05).
