Median heart end systolic volume of normal and affected treated Dachshunds between 12 and 17 months of age. Over this age range the mean end systolic volume of the affected dogs was higher than that of the normal dogs at every age assessed. Comparison of the data using the Friedman repeated measures analysis of variance on ranks test indicated that the end systolic volume in the affected treated dogs was significantly higher than in the normal dogs over this age range (p<0.01).
