Classification of drug-tissue pairs (Supplemental Data) according to the magnitudes of the Damkohler number and the binding potential. Our analysis of equilibrium drug retention will focus on large binding potentials (Bp>10, yellow and green regions). Analysis of drug transport will further presume that transport is diffusion limited (Da>10, green regions). These assumptions will be validated for paclitaxel and rapamycin and can be seen to include a range of antibodies and growth factors.
