The main effect of language lateralization. Contrast of unflipped versus flipped images of language effects. Images were thresholded at p < 0.05 after correction for multiple comparisons across the whole brain in terms of either intensity or spatial extent. All the left > right lateralized areas were activated during language on the left at a similar threshold. The only right > left lateralized area was located in the cerebellum and was activated on the right at a similar threshold.
