Effects of the WSSP fractions on gluconeogenesis in rat hepatocytes. (A) Glucose production after exposure to WSSP or each of its fractions in isolated hepatocytes. Hepatocytes were incubated for 2 h in the presence of gluconeogenic substrates (pyruvate and lactate) with WSSP or each fraction. Data are expressed as the mean ± standard deviation (n = 6).
