The following article has been retracted at the request of the Editor:
Tong F, Xiong C, Wei C, et al. Hypo-fractionation radiotherapy normalizes tumor vasculature in non-small cell lung cancer xenografts through the p-STAT3/HIF-1 alpha signaling pathway. Therapeutic Advances in Medical Oncology. 2020;12. doi: 10.1177/1758835920965853
Concerns were raised on PubPeer about the following figures in the article:
A) Figure 2B appears to have overlapping features between the Sham 7d and CRT 14d immunohistology panels.
B) Figure 2D appears to have overlapping features between the CRT 7d and CRT 14d immunohistology panels.
C) Figure 3B appears to have overlapping features between the 7d Sham CD34 and 14d CRT CD34 immunofluorescence panels.
D) Figure 4A and 4B appear to have overlapping features across some microscopy images. Specifically, overlapping features can be seen across the H460 0d HFRT, HCC827 0d CRT and HCC827 0d HFRT fluorescence panels; H460 7d HFRT and HCC827 7d CRT fluorescence panels.
The authors provided the uncropped raw images underlying the abovementioned figures, but we were unable to resolve the original concerns raised.
Due to unresolved concerns about image integrity and the extent of the concerns that call into question the validity of the findings, the Therapeutic Advances in Medical Oncology Editor retracts the article.
The authors agreed to the retraction.
