The authors regret the re-categorisation of 2 MIS-C cases such that the total reported case count is reduced in the pre-Delta period, and is increased in the Omicron period from one jurisdiction (NSW) only. In Table 1 of the paper, NSW reported 1 case of MIS-C in the pre-Delta variant period and 28 cases in the Omicron period. The SARS-CoV-2 infection related incidence of MIS-C for NSW was 18 (0-99) cases per 10,000 notifications in the pre-Delta period and 0.6 (0-1) cases per 10,000 notifications in the Omicron period. Across NSW, QLD and Victoria, 4 MIS-C cases were reported in the pre-Delta period 10 (3-26) cases per 10,000 notifications) and 61 cases were reported in the Omicron period (0.8 (0-1) cases per 10,000 notifications). These changes do not alter the overall results of the manuscript, that MIS-C incidence per SARS-CoV-2 infection has decreased from the pre-Delta variant period to the Omicron variant period. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
