The Editor and Publisher of International Journal of Nanomedicine are retracting the published article. The authors requested to correct the image used for Figure 8D, p-PTEN, Inhibitor, however it was found the image had been duplicated with that from Figure 7E, p-PTEN, inhibitor from Ou L, Sun T, Liu M, et al. The authors cooperated with our queries and provided some data from their study, but they were unable to provide a satisfactory explanation for the image duplication. As the findings could not be adequately verified the Editor and Publisher made the decision to retract the article. The authors did not agree with this decision.
