Dear Editors,

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for allowing us the opportunity to participate in the CMEJ peer reviewing process. The process has been eye-opening. Not only did we critically analyze the articles independently, but also came together to engage in meaningful and profound conversations about the article content. In reviewing several articles over the past couple of months, we have watched the quality and depth with which we evaluate articles evolve and strengthen. It was an invaluable experience, and we feel privileged that we were exposed to this process at such an early stage in our career, especially as students with an interest in publishing research. Our moderator, Dr. Cindy Schmidt, played a critical role in teaching us how to analyze and critique scholarly work in a professional way. We can confidently say that this opportunity has tremendously guided our professional development in the field of research and partnership.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for including us in this process and hope you will consider including us in the future!

With appreciation,

The Kansas City University Anatomy Fellows

Ginger Chant, George Kalu, Morgan McBride, Celeste Murtha, Colleen Reed, Tamara Stojilkovic, Grace Thiel, Keanna Theobalt, and Miles Turk
