Corrigendum to “The Role of Hypoxia on the Neuronal Differentiation of Gingival Mesenchymal Stem Cells: A Transcriptional Study”

The authors would like to alert the readers to the following change in their article.

Gugliandolo A, Diomede F, Scionti D, Bramanti P, Trubiani O, Mazzon E. The Role of Hypoxia on the Neuronal Differentiation of Gingival Mesenchymal Stem Cells: A Transcriptional Study. Cell Transplantation. 2019;28(5):538-552. doi:10.1177/0963689718814470

The authors were made aware of a PubPeer post that raised concerns over Figure 5A sharing the same field of view as Figure 6A and 6B of an article published in Frontiers in Physiology 1 .

Upon investigating the matter they realized this figure was inserted into the article in error. The mistake was due to both experiments’ controls being organized in similar folders due to both experiments being conducted in the same year. The figure control inserted as Figure 5A was derived from the experiments conducted for the Frontiers in Physiology article 1 . The corrected figure, the figure control derived from the Cell Transplantation experiment, is available for the readers below.

The Journal Editors confirm this modification does not affect the scientific conclusions reported in the paper, and the authors apologize for the mistake.
