Recently, we found that the content of the paper entitled “Differential efficacy profile of aldosterone receptor antagonists, depending on the type of chronic heart failure, whether with reduced or preserved left ventricular ejection fraction—results of a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials” (1) published in the Vol 7, No 3 (June 16, 2017) issue of Cardiovascular Diagnosis and Therapy overlapped significantly to the article “The Impact Exerted on Clinical Outcomes of Patients With Chronic Heart Failure by Aldosterone Receptor Antagonists: A Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials” published in the Volume 9, Number 2 (February 2017) issue of the Journal of Clinical Medicine Research. The editorial office suspects that the articles are duplicate publications and thus decided to retract this paper in accordance with the journal’s retraction policy. The authors were invited to comment on this issue and subsequently informed about the decision by the editorial office.
