The authors regret several typographical errors in the article. The following corrections have been made:

  • Indicators including the Global Diet Quality Score, Dietary Diversity Score, and Caloric Adequacy Ratio, have been capitalized throughout the article.

  • In the abstract and discussion, the phrases "the apparent male advantage disappear” and “the apparent male advantage disappeared” have been changed to “the apparent male advantage disappears".

  • The abbreviation GDQS is now spelled out when first mentioned in the introduction.

  • On page 9, an extra word has been removed, and the sentence now reads “…women in ultrapoor households consumed nearly equal…”.

  • A clarification has been made on page 10. The original sentence read: "Accordingly, we may have overestimated caloric requirements for lactating women and, therefore, underestimated CAR differences between men and women, particularly among the ultrapoor households where 68% of women were lactating and among lactating women where 56% were breastfeeding children aged 12–24 mo." However, we have corrected this passage to: “Accordingly, we potentially overestimate caloric requirements for lactating women. As a result, we may overestimate CAR differences between men and women in ultrapoor households and underestimate these differences in farm households, with a more pronounced effect for ultrapoor households since 68% of women were lactating and, among lactating women, 56% were breastfeeding children aged 12–24 months.”

The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
