Erratum to abnormal neutrophil polarization in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and how cigarette smoke extracts attract neutrophils

This article (1) titled “Abnormal neutrophil polarization in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and how cigarette smoke extracts attract neutrophils” (doi: 10.21037/atm-22-1480), unfortunately contains errors in Figure 9. The two cell photos in Figure 9 show the experimental results of two different treatment groups, treated by Akt inhibitor (deguelin) and PI3K inhibitor (LY249004) respectively. However, the two pictures are repeated. The other elements remain the same, and the interpretation of the result remains the same. The corrected Figure 9 is presented below.
