Biochanin-A decreases the oxidative stress and helps in diabetes condition. It increases the expression of SIRT-1 and progresses insulin sensitivity. Biochanin-A is a PPAR-γ receptor activator producing an anti-diabetic effect. It increases the release of adiponectin and decreases the resistin level to improve the diabetic condition ( Shen et al., 2006; Oza and Kulkarni, 2018; Salemi et al., 2018).
