Retraction: Klingener et al., “N-Cadherin Promotes Recruitment and Migration of Neural Progenitor Cells from the SVZ Neural Stem Cell Niche into Demyelinated Lesions”

The Editorial Board is retracting the article “N-Cadherin Promotes Recruitment and Migration of Neural Progenitor Cells from the SVZ Neural Stem Cell Niche into Demyelinated Lesions,” by Michael Klingener, Manideep Chavali, Jagdeep Singh, Nadia McMillan, Alexandra Coomes, Peter J. Dempsey, Emily I. Chen, and Adan Aguirre, which appeared on pages 9590–9606 of the July 16, 2014 issue.

As reported earlier (2021), Stony Brook University raised concerns about the validity and organization of data presented in this article, specifically in Figures 2 and 4. After reviewing these concerns in full, the Editorial Board has concluded that the results reported cannot be considered reliable and therefore that the article should be retracted.
