Written individualised management plans for asthma in children and adults

Brett Toelle 1,, Felix SF Ram 2
Editor: Cochrane Airways Group
PMCID: PMC10734263  PMID: 21735389

Reason for withdrawal from publication

This review has been withdrawn as the search is out of date. Written action plans are now viewed as a component of asthma self‐management rather than a standalone intervention. Guidelines recommend that asthma self‐management education involves education about asthma medication and use of inhalers, prevention of symptoms and attacks, self‐management, monitoring and control of asthma and regular practitioner review in addition to a written action plan (GINA).

The editorial group responsible for this previously published document have withdrawn it from publication.
