The Executive Editor became aware of potential image duplication and manipulation issues raised by comments on PubPeer. Specifically:

Figure 2F images from the Transwell assay appear to be highly similar to Figure 4F from following article:

Retracted: Long noncoding RNA MALAT1 enhances the docetaxel resistance of prostate cancer cells via miR-145-5p-mediated regulation of AKAP12.

Upon further investigation, the submission appears to contain indicators of third-party involvement.

Due to concerns about the published images which brings into question the overall research findings, and due to concerns around third-party involvement in this article, the Executive Editor retracts this article.
