Summary
Is it acceptable to deny iron supplementation to pregnant women? Are there any planned trials to address this issue? Another approach to answer the question "is there an association between maternal anemia and prematurity" is meta‐analysis of observational data. We are conducting such a meta‐analysis, which will include our published case control study (1) and another unpublished study in which we failed to demonstrate an association between iron deficiency anemia and prematurity.

Summary
The study by Taylor et al, listed as 'UK 1982b', did not cite any statistics on low birthweight, but this review includes data on low birthweight. Also, the graph in this review has 24 in the treatment group, but 3 were excluded due to premature birth, leaving only 21. Was the right study cited in the review? If there has been a mistake, please let me know where I can find the correct study.
