Abstract

Bio‐inspired Sniffing Strategy for Electronic Noses

In article number 2305639, Luzheng Liu, Na Na, Chuxiong Hu, and co‐workers report a bio‐inspired multiple overlapping sniffs strategy (MOSS) for the odor recognition enhancement of electronic noses. By imitating professional wine tasters, the MOSS strategy employing rapid, successive inhalations of odorants to elicit rich temporal signals and improve the recognition accuracy among liquors. This technique showcases great potential in odor recognition in medical, food, and environmental applications.
