FACS analysis of PI stained OM10.1 cells. The stained cells were analyzed for red fluorescence (FL2) on a FACScan (Becton Dickinson, San Jose, CA), and cell distribution in the G1, S, and G2/M phases of the cell cycle was calculated from the resulting DNA histogram with Cell FIT software, based on a rectangular S-phase model. A sub-G1 population was considered as an apoptotic population.
