Fold induction of AhR transcriptional activation caused by the fermentation supernatant of the M-Batch experiments and relative to cells treated with the M-SHIME medium only. Individual values of technical triplicates for the duplicated experiments in two independent repetitions of the reporter gene assay (n = 12) are presented. Mean values of the treatments with coffee and green tea were compared with the control experiments, respectively, and the results were significantly higher in both cases (p ≤ 0.001) (***).
