The 2023 Duke-International Society for Cardiovascular Infectious Diseases Criteria for Infective Endocarditis: Updating the Modified Duke Criteria. Clinical Infectious Diseases, Volume 77, Issue 4, 15 August 2023, Pages 518–526, https://doi.org/10.1093/cid/ciad271], it was discovered that due to a publisher error, footnote a in the legend of Table 2 incorrectly states “Staphylococcus aureus; Staphylococcus lugdunensis; Enterococcus faecalis; all streptococcal species (except for Staphylococcus pneumoniae and Staphylococcus pyogenes)…”. The footnote has been updated in the version of the article currently available online to read “Staphylococcus aureus; Staphylococcus lugdunensis; Enterococcus faecalis; all streptococcal species (except for Streptococcus pneumoniae and Streptococcus pyogenes)…”.
