Dear Friends,

I am happy that once again we are successfully organising the most prestigious event of the Indian Psychiatric Society, ANCIPS - the Annual National Conference. This year, we are hosting the 75th Conference in the beautiful city of Kochi from January 18 to 21, 2024.

Our greatest pride is the Scientific Session that has been put together by the highly efficient Scientific committee along with the Organising committee, for which I am highly grateful to them. Over 4 days, we will have the opportunity to listen and learn from illustrious researchers, teachers, academicians, and clinicians from across the Country and beyond. There will be Plenary sessions, Invited talks, Symposiums, Free papers, and E-posters to be presented by the eminent International and National speakers. This year we have included one Platinum Jubilee symposium to celebrate 75th year of our society.

The clouds of Pandemic is slowly disappearing. We have still struggled with the uncertainties and adversities, and hoped and prayed for all around us to stay safe and well.

I am confident beyond doubt that when our hundreds of delegates come together, hand in hand, in the spirit of our Society, we will be extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to learn and share knowledge in the best of the academic environment.

I thank each and every one who has been instrumental in Organizing this Conference, from all members of the National Body of Office Bearers of Indian Psychiatric Society, to the Patrons and Advisors and the Local Organizing Committee, for offering in their heart and soul for the grand success of this gala academic feast.

I, personally, look forward to learn from the 4 days to improve my clinical practice for better service to patients.

I wish the 75th Annual National Conference of Indian Psychiatric Society 2024 a grand success.

Long Live IPS!
