Dear Friends it is a very happy occasion to write to you @Ips 75 at Ancips at Kochi. It is also the end of my very satisfying journey as Editor In Chief of Indian Journal of Psychiatry. I started My journey after being elected as Hony.Editor in 2018 at ANCIPS Ranchi and will be handing over to my successor in this conference. I have been overwhelmed by love and affection by our members who have allowed me 3 terms as honorary Editor.

I can very proudly state that team IJP has able to achieve many milestones and and have made Indian Psycahiatry Society proud and respected in India and International Arena. Our Impact factor has risen from .84 to 3.1 and Cite Score to 4.4 we have moved to Q2 of Psychiatry Journals.

IJP has started with 4 issues and I am proud to state that it increased to 6 issues in 2019 and 12 issues in 2023 during my tenure. I have been blessed to work with a very dedicated team and ably supported by all the office bearers and EC members during this time who have allowed us a free hand to run the Journal.

I am grateful to IPS presidents Dr Ajit Vide, Dr Mrugesh Vaishnav, Dr PK Dalal, Dr Gautam Saha, Dr N N Raju, Dr Vinay Kumar, Honarary General Secretaries Dr Vinay Kumar, Dr TSS Rao, Dr Aravinda Brahma and Hony Treasurers Dr Mukesh Jaggiwala, Dr Khirod Mishra and Dr Aleem Siddique who have always guided and supported me.

I must thank my team guided by Dr Rajesh Sagar and my whole editorial team. I am particularaly grateful to Dr Chittaranjan Andrade, Dr Sujit Sarkhel, Dr Sandeep Grover, Dr Janardan Reddy, Dr Vikas Menon, Dr Siddhrth Sarkar, Dr Varun Mehta for their tireless efforts.

IJP along with IPS is @ 75 at ANCIPS, Kochi. I am grateful to the organising committee lead by Dr Joseph Vergeese and Dr Anoop Vincent for all the help and hospitality provided.
