Erratum for the Research Article: “Optogenetic modeling of human neuromuscular circuits in Duchenne muscular dystrophy with CRISPR and pharmacological corrections”

PMCID: PMC10923577  PMID: 36269837

In the original version of the Research Article “Optogenetic modeling of human neuromuscular circuits in Duchenne muscular dystrophy with CRISPR and pharmacological corrections”, a calibration error by the authors in particle image velocimetry analysis resulted in y-axis scale 1000 times higher. A summary of the changes to the article and supplementary materials following a correction of this error is noted below:

• In the Results section on page 6 under “Optogenetic modeling of neuromuscular circuits reveals compromised myofiber contraction and NMJ defects in DMD,” the maximum contraction velocity in DMD-R3381X myofibers was updated from “~0.5 × 104 μm/s” to “~5 μm/s.” The maximum contraction velocity in CORR-R3381X myofibers was updated from “~1.5 × 104 μm/s” to “~15 μm/s.”

• In Fig. 3, the authors corrected a typo to “ADFNB” and the scale on the y-axis in panel G was corrected to 5, 10, 15, 20 (μm/s).

• In Fig. 4, the scale on the y-axis was changed to 20, 40, 60, 80 (μm/s) in panel D, and 5, 10, 15, 20 (μm/s) in panel F.

• In the Supplementary Materials PDF, the scale on the y-axis in figure S4D was corrected to 20, 40, 60, 80 (μm/s).

The Results section, Figs. 3 and 4, and the Supplementary Materials have been updated in the HTML and online PDF versions to reflect these changes.
