Dear Esteemed Members of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists,
As the past president of our esteemed society, it brings me great pleasure to witness the culmination of our collective efforts in advancing the field of anaesthesiology through research and scholarly exchange. The abstracts of the papers presented in the recently conducted annual conference of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists are being published in this special abstract supplement of the Indian Journal of Anaesthesia.
The Annual National Conference serves as a platform for anaesthesiologists from across the country to present their latest research findings, share clinical experiences, and engage in meaningful discussions on emerging trends and challenges in our field. This year’s conference was no exception, with diverse abstract submissions showcasing the breadth and depth of talent within our community.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the researchers who contributed their work to this supplement. The support from my fellow colleagues in the governing council was unconditional, and I sincerely appreciate the same. I also want to express my appreciation to the Indian Journal of Anaesthesia, the editorial board members, and Prof Rakesh Garg, the Editor-in-Chief, in particular, for bringing this special issue in time. Also, special appreciation to the organising team, reviewers, and judges for their wholehearted support for the conduct of the paper presentation during the conference. I encourage all members of our society to explore the abstracts featured in this special supplement, engage with the research findings, and consider how they can be applied to enhance clinical practice and improve patient care.
