Corrigendum to “Versatile open-source fluorescence documentation system” [HardwareX 15, September (2023), e00450]

Leonhard Bandilla 1,
PMCID: PMC10944117  PMID: 38497031

The authors regret that a mistake in the schematics and consequently also in the original Fig. 7 was overlooked. Pin 1 of both of the LM317s used for constant current regulation of the LEDs as seen in the new Fig. 7 b) should be connected to the downstream side of the resistors, towards the LEDs, while in the old figure pin 1 of the LM317s was connected to the opposite side, the side of the resistors that is also connected to pin 2 of the LM317s. A device build in accordance to the old schematics and figure would be non-functional due to this. Below is an updated version of Fig. 7. Additionally a new registration on OSF with the correct files has been made and is accessible immediately under: https://doi.org/10.17605/OSF.IO/PM543.

Additionally the authors regret that mistakes citing the software tools used were made. Specifically the four software tools Blender, ImageJ and FIJI, as well as the FIJI plugin ReadPlate 3.0 were used for the 3D-Design and image analysis respectively, however the relevant citations were omitted by accident [1], [2], [3], [4].

The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
