Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS), we are pleased to present abstract highlights from the AOFAS Winter Meeting 2024, January 25 to 28, in Tampa, Florida. With a focus of Challenging Dogma and Exploring New Horizons, the meeting brought together orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeons and allied health professionals from around the world for the purpose of advancing education and research in the United States and abroad.
Although some of the research studies presented at the conference have been published in the academic literature, many others may not be published for some time. To help bridge the gap between presentation and publication, the AOFAS has partnered with Sage Publishing to provide select abstracts from the conference for practitioners seeking to learn how the data presented at the conference might affect their practice.
Abstracts for all meeting podium and e-podium presentations will subsequently be published open access in the journal Foot & Ankle Orthopaedics. All AOFAS members and meeting registrants will also have access to recorded meeting sessions in the OnDemand Education Center (ONE), when available.
