In the Experimental Section, the synthetic procedure of 20 should be corrected, to read as follows: “To a stirred suspension of 2-chloro-8-iodo-6-chloropurine (17d) (3.00 g, 7.38 mmol) in CH3CN (150.0 mL) was dropwise added BSA (2.40 mL, 9.83 mmol) at room temperature under N2 and the mixture was heated at 80 °C until obtaining clear brown solution. To the reaction mixture was quickly added 16 (2.00 g, 4.92 mmol) in CH3CN (50.0 mL) and TMSOTf (0.89 mL, 4.92 mmol) and the mixture was stirred at 80 °C for 5 h. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature, quenched with saturated NaHCO3 solution (100 mL), and diluted with EtOAc (100 mL). The layers were separated, and the aqueous layer was extracted with EtOAc (3 × 100 mL).The combined organic layers were washed successively with H2O (50 mL), dried over anhydrous MgSO4, filtered, and evaporated. The residue was purified by column chromatography (silica gel, hexanes/EtOAc, 10/1) to give 20 (1.50 g, 41%) as brown syrup…”.

Page 12260. In the Experimental Section, the synthetic procedure of 23 should be corrected, to read as follows: “To a stirred solution of 2,6-dichloro-8-iodopurine (19) (581 mg,1.84 mmol) in CH3CN (10.0 mL) was dropwise added BSA (0.60 mL, 2.46 mmol) at room temperature under N2…”.
