In the Editorial titled “Shedding Patterns of Genital Herpes Simplex Virus Infections,”1 published online on October 22, 2022, and in the November 1, 2022, issue of JAMA, Dr Whitley omitted potential conflict of interest disclosures. The disclosure statement has been corrected to include “serving on the board of directors for Gilead Sciences, Inc, with vested shares in the company at the time of this publication, and as cofounder and investor in Treovir LLC.” This article was corrected online.
