Comparison of COVID‐19 laboratory diagnosis by commercial kits: Effectivity of RT‐PCR to the RT‐LAMP
The article 1 to which this Corrigendum refers was published in the Journal of Medical Virology 94(5):1998‐2007 (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/jmv.27559).
The name of the kit in “Abstract” and “Material and Methods”: “QIAseq DIRECT SARS‐CoV‐2 kit” should be corrected to “QIAprep & amp Viral RNA UM kit”. In Protocols in “Material and Methods”, the sentence “In this kit, FAM, HEX, and Cy5 were used for S, Orf1ab, and RNaseP gene, respectively. According to the kit protocol, 5 μl patient samples with VTM were added to a 15 μl ready kit mixture to achieve a 20 μl PCR mixture in total” should be revised to “In this kit, 10 μl patient samples with VTM were added to a 10 μl ready kit mixture to achieve a 20 μl PCR mixture in total”.
The authors regret this error.
