This correction regards the article titled, “Safety and Efficacy of Omaveloxolone in Friedreich Ataxia (MOXIe Study),” published in Annals of Neurology in 2021 under the DOI: 10.1002/ana.25934.
We have recently discovered an error in the manuscript related to Figure 2B, which discusses the different components of the modified Friedreich's Ataxia Rating Scale (mFARS). It was incorrectly stated that upright stability showed the greatest improvement, when actually, upper limb coordination displayed the greatest improvement. We apologize for this oversight.
The suggested correction is as follows.
In the Results section, the text should read: “Within the mFARS assessment, omaveloxolone improved each component (bulbar, upper limb coordination, lower limb coordination, and upright stability) relative to placebo, although the greatest effects were on upper limb coordination, followed by upright stability (see Fig 2B).”
