Liver stiffness measurement predicted liver-related events and all-cause mortality: A systematic review and nonlinear dose–response meta-analysis: Retraction

With agreement from the authors, the Editors and Publisher retract the article “Liver stiffness measurement predicted liver-related events and all-cause mortality: A systematic review and nonlinear dose–response meta-analysis” by Wang et al. published in the April 2018 issue of Hepatology Communications. The article reports on the use of a non-existent statistical test the authors refer to as “Begger’s Test.”  The use of Begger’s Test has been found in dozens of meta-analyses that have been retracted.
