Abstract

Solvatochromic Fluorescent Dyes

In article number 2309721 by Junichi Ikenouchi, Gen‐ichi Konishi, and co‐workers, the long‐term continuous observation of membrane lipid composition changes during cell division using a newly developed fluorescent dye is described. The dye possesses solvatochromic fluorescence properties that change emission color with polarity, as well as excellent photostability and low toxicity.
