Errors in Numbers in Meta-Analysis

PMCID: PMC11097091  PMID: 38748412

In the Original Investigation titled “Association of Schizophrenia With the Risk of Breast Cancer Incidence: A Meta-Analysis,”1 published online first on March 7, 2018, and in the April 2018 issue of JAMA Psychiatry, errors occurred in the reported numbers of participants in some of the studies included in the analysis, and some of the effect sizes and 95% CIs need minor corrections. The author has explained what happened in a Letter2 and has confirmed that these errors, once corrected, do not affect the overall findings, interpretations, or conclusions of the article. Corrections have been made to the Abstract, article text, Figures 2-4, eTable, and eFigure 1. This article was corrected online.
