Former general practitioner Swansea (b Talgarth 1920; q London 1950; MBE, TD, DCH), d 19 December 2000.
The second world war interrupted his medical studies, and he served in the Royal Air Force as a navigator. During 27 years in general practice, he later assisted in the venereology clinic in Swansea and he was appointed consultant in genitourinary medicine at various hospitals in Wales. He served in the Royal Army Medical Corps Volunteer Reserve of the Territorial Army and became a lieutenant colonel. He leaves a wife, Beti; five children; and eight grandchildren.
