Error in Methods

In the Research Letter titled “Stigmatizing Language, Patient Demographics, and Errors in the Diagnostic Process,”¹ published online April 14, 2024, and in the June 2024 print issue, details of the study sample were revised from “patients who died or were transferred to the intensive care unit within 48 hour of hospital admission” to “patients who died while hospitalized (with the exception of people who died <48 hours of admission for trauma, burn, or out-of-hospital arrest) or were transferred to the intensive care unit more than 48 hours after admission.” This article has been corrected online.
