Abstract
A case is presented in which toluidine blue-O was used to identify an islet-cell tumour of the pancreas. Metastatic deposits in two lymph-nodes were also stained. The method is recommended in exploration of the pancreas, especially when no tumour is palpable, or to identify metastatic spread of an islet-cell tumour.
