As a control analysis, the correlations from an sgACC seed region (indicated with a white circle) were visualized to examine whether the correlation pattern extended into the VS (which is observed in group-averaged data) in S2. The sgACC seed region is again strongly correlated with the full cortical extent of Default Network-A (DN-A; right) and minimally crosses the striatal boundary into the ventral portion of the VS (left). Results are visualized and labeled as described in Figure 7.
