Communicating accuracy of tests to general practitioners: a controlled study

An error persisted to publication in this paper by Johann Steurer and colleagues (6 April, pp 824-6). In the box on p 825 the subtitle should be “Likelihood ratio for a test result (general definition)” [not “positive test result”], and the final bullet point should start “Likelihood ratio of a negative [not positive] test result=. . .”
