The original HTML version of this Article contained an error in the protocol for HCC extraction.

As a result, in the Methods section, under the subheading ‘Hair preparation’

“For extraction, 1 mL of methanol was added, and the vial was sealed and incubated overnight for 16 h at 52 °C while gently shaking69. After incubation, samples were centrifuged, and the methanol extract was transferred to a disposable glass vial and evaporated to dryness under nitrogen. The samples were dissolved in 250 μL phosphate buffered saline (pH 8.0).”

now reads:

“For extraction, 1.5 mL of methanol was added, and the vial was sealed and incubated overnight for 18 hours at room temperature while gently shaking69. After incubation, samples were centrifuged, and the methanol extract was transferred to a disposable glass vial and evaporated to dryness under nitrogen. The samples were dissolved in 250 μL phosphate-buffered saline (pH 8.0).”

The original Article has been corrected.
