Analysis was performed of publicly available scRNA-seq data from whole embryos, staged around early organogenesis, of 4 chordate species — Zebrafish (Danio rerio), African clawed frog (Xenopus laevis), House mouse (Mus musculus) and Cynomolgus macaque (Macaca fascicularis).
