Corrigendum to “Antihypertensive medication classes and risk of incident dementia in primary care patients: a longitudinal cohort study in the Netherlands” [The Lancet Regional Health—Europe, Volume 42, July 2024, 100927]

The authors have identified an error in the introduction of the main text. The correct statement should read: “Hypertension is an important risk factor for all-cause dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease (AD). It affects over 70% of adults aged 60 and older,” rather than “Hypertension is an important risk factor for all-cause dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease (AD), which is the cause of dementia in over 70% of adults aged 60 and older.”
