Survival rates were compared using the log-rank test at a 5% level of significance. The presence of diabetes (dm) (A), hypertension (htn) (B), chronic kidney disease (ckdn) (C), hyperlipidemia (hld )(D), and congestive heart failure (chf) (E) is associated with a 10-year survival between 50% and 75%. However, the presence of peripheral arterial disease (padn) (F) had a 10-year survival of <50% from the time of initial coronary artery calcification on chest imaging. All comorbid conditions except hypertension were associated with significantly lower survival probabilities.
